Sulphur Hexafluoride emissions

gigagrams of CO2 equivalent, 1990–2012

Info Edit

Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) is the most potent greenhouse gas, with a global warming potential of 23,900 times that of carbon dioxide (CO2) when compared over a 100-year period. Sulfur hexafluoride is also extremely long-lived and is inert in the troposphere and stratosphere.
