Info Edit

Prevalence is defined as the number of cases of a given disease in a specified population at a designated time per 100,000 people. Stroke was defined according to WHO criteria – rapidly developing clinical signs of focal (at times global) disturbance of cerebral function lasting more than 24 hours or leading to death with no apparent cause other than that of vascular origin.
