The GDP EKS series are expressed in 2020 PPPs. Real GDP growth rates for the pre-1990 period are mostly based on Angus Maddison’s historical statistics, and for later years they are taken from official data sources. GDP data for the post-1990 period, and does not reflect the rapid declines in the prices of information and communication technology goods.
The International dollar is a hypothetical unit of currency that has the same purchasing power parity that the U.S. dollar had in the United States at a given point in time.
